 Post-Construction Cleaning – Full Checklist

Post-construction cleaning is completed in three stages: Rough Clean, Detailed Clean, and Final Touch-Up. This checklist covers all stages and can be customized for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Stage 1: Rough Construction Clean

(Performed once major construction debris has been removed)

  • Remove large debris and construction materials

  • Sweep floors and clear dust piles

  • Remove plastic coverings, stickers, and temporary labels

  • Vacuum all loose dust using HEPA vacuums

  • Clean drywall dust from walls, baseboards, and corners

  • Remove adhesive, caulking residue, and glue spots

✔️ Windows & Glass

  • Remove stickers and construction film

  • Clean interior glass, frames, and tracks

  • Dust window sills and surrounding areas

  • Wipe construction dust from doors, frames, and baseboards

  • Remove paint drips or markings where possible

Stage 2: Detailed Deep Clean

(Extremely thorough — prepares the property for nearly move-in ready condition)

  • Vacuum all flooring including edges and corners

  • Mop all hard surfaces with dust-control solution

  • Machine-scrub floors as required

  • Clean grout lines and tile surfaces
